The Director of Online Learning will collaborate with administrators, faculty and staff in the development, delivery and support of online programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Specializes in online curriculum design and delivery at the undergraduate and graduate level.
· Provides vision for the future of online learning at Lake Erie College.
· Works with administrators and faculty to ensure compliance with the Ohio Board of Regents and the Higher Learning Commission in regard to distance learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment.
· A master’s degree in instructional technology, instructional design, higher education administration or a closely related field.
· Leadership in development of online programs/courses in a higher education setting, in-depth knowledge of current trends and tools in distance and online learning along with experience applying accepted instructional design and evaluation practices are also required.
· Preference will be given to applicants with experience in both face-to-face and online teaching programs, as well as those with experience in marketing academic programs.
