VRRM 2007 – Workshop


The interdisciplinary Workshop aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing and testing elements of Virtual Reality Environments for Medicine. The general objective of the VRRM 2007 is the promotion of international collaboration in the field of medicine, technology, engineering and computer science/IT&C. The Workshop VRRM provides an International Forum for researchers, engineers, professors, medical scientists and technologists in the areas of Medicine, Science and Technology. It will be an excellent opportunity to present, demonstrate and discuss research, development, applications, and the latest innovations and results in the field of Health, Rehabilitation Medicine and IT Industry.

Registration fees

  • 150 Euros  (standard participants- research, academics, specialists) / 200 Euros after  July 1,  2007
  • 75 Euros (students, residents) / 100 Euros after July 1

Dr. Marin Vlada is Professor in Computer Science at the University of Bucharest, concerned with education and research in Computer Science, in particular Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics & Virtual Reality, Web Programming and Educational Technology (New technologies for e-Learning, e-Training, e-Skills). He is the co-ordinator and founder of CNIV and ICVL projects "2010 - Towards a Knowledge Society – 2030" (New Technologies in Education and Research) at the University of Bucharest.
