Responsibilities:

• Develop short & long-term plans for how to make the student developer experience more relevant and engaging to help them gain technical knowledge, adopt our tools/platform and build quality applications leveraging marquee programs like Imagine Cup, Microsoft Student Partner, Faculty Connection
• Play a key role in developing/nurturing our business acumen on how best we engage students and faculty in the technical learning, building and app publishing process and what are the most engaging ways we can enable more students to build quality apps at scale, while building long term Microsoft platform advocates from within the student population.
• Consistently tracks programs to measure business impact including engagement, adoption, advocacy and scale for academic audience
• Aligns with global academic audience strategy, programs and approach with execution based on local market and audience intelligence. Effectively assesses viability and value of existing, new and emergent channels/programs for improving audience outreach/scalability.

• Strong communication skills both written and in front of small and larger audience
• Be a team-oriented individual with good inter-personal skills and a ‘can-do’ and ‘will-do’ attitude
• Be agile with ability to change requirements or specifications given a dynamic work environment
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations and influence change.
